The role:
We’re looking for a dedicated Recruitment & Onboarding Co-ordinator join our HR team and play a key role in supporting our recruitment efforts.
You will be required to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm. This is a full-time role based at our headquarters in Kendal.
What you’ll be doing:
- Co-ordinate the Full Recruitment Cycle: From advertising job vacancies and screening applications to scheduling interviews and onboarding new employees.
- Partner with Hiring Managers: Work closely with department leaders to understand staffing needs and ensure a seamless hiring process.
- Talent Screening: Review applications, conduct initial screenings, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Talent Searching: To seek right-fit candidates on platforms such as LinkedIn
- Candidate Experience: Ensure candidates have a positive experience by providing timely feedback, clear communication, and support throughout the hiring process.
- Local Recruitment Campaigns: Assist in organising and managing recruitment campaigns, talent pipelines, and outreach efforts to attract top talent locally and regionally.
- Support New Starters: Help facilitate the onboarding process, including scheduling inductions, and ensuring new team members feel welcomed and supported from day one.
- Recruitment Administration: Maintain accurate records and ensure all recruitment documentation is organised and up to date.
- To prepare and issue offer letters and contracts of employment
- Manage the company’s sponsorship license, and ensure compliance with the Right to Work for new employees
What you’ll need:
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience of high-volume recruitment in manufacturing
- A flexible, proactive, and hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of a task or project and see through to completion
- The ability to complete work with accuracy with attention to detail.
- Be driven and able to multi-task under pressure
- Recruitment experience (agency or in-house)
- Confident on the phone and proficient in Microsoft Office
- A positive, can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills that help you connect and build trust
