The role:

We are looking for Finance Administrator to support our Site Controller in the maintenance of the account ledgers, the preparing and sharing of information including reporting to the management team. Updating financial records and processing invoices.

We need someone who is focused, forward thinking and suggests changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and looks for ways in which we can reduce costs.

It’s an exciting time to be at Kendal Nutricare, along with the growth comes the need to update our systems.

This is a full-time role based at our headquarters in Kendal, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases
  • Assisting with the resolution of problems on invoices/purchase orders/supplier queries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
  • Raise invoices/credit notes to customers
  • Daily chasing of overdue debt
  • Set up new customer and supplier accounts
  • Perform reconciliations between our ledger and customer portals
  • Assist in preparing documentation for external and internal audits
  • Provide necessary support during audit processes
  • Respond to customer queries/complaints via e-mail, telephone and social media
  • Raise claims with our 3rd party couriers
  • Issue refunds to customers where required
  • Collection and distribution of the Finance Department’s post
  • Any other reasonable duties that assist in the effective running of the department
  • Complying with safety procedures including but not limited to: adopting safe working practices, wearing the required protective clothing and use of safety equipment appropriate to the role
  • Take ownership and be responsible for Product Legality, Quality and Authenticity

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience essential
  • Great numeracy skills, with a high degree of accuracy
  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Good IT skills
  • Good written and oral communication skill
