The role: 

Looking for a content writer to join our rapidly expanding marketing team, crafting social, blogs and email  marketing campaigns that delight, educate and inform our audience about our products.  

With a background in best-in-class copy and content writing, you’ll be focussed on bringing our brand to  life through our written content.  

You will be responsible for our written content across Kendamil marketing assets, ranging from short form writing (social, email, ad copy), to longer-form content (blogs, press releases), to exciting and  ambitious PR projects 

With a strong attention to detail and brilliant grammar, this role will require the ability to craft engaging  customer-facing copy that brings our brand to life.  

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Writing, proof-reading and delivering copy for all content marketing brand projects
  • Being the guardian of our brand tone-of-voice, using audience and content data to ensure we’re  hitting our target audience 
  • Content proofing for our UK social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter)
  • Crafting new educational content on long-form blog posts to educate and inform UK parents
  • Reviewing new content for SEO and optimising existing content for improved SEO ranking /  links, working with our Marketing strategist 
  • Working with our Social and Content Manager and Social Media Executive to ensure a consistent  brand tone-of-voice across our social content, as well as contributing content ideas and iterating  based on engagement insights 
  • Working with our Product and Support teams to ensure our website copy is regularly updated
  • Monitoring the communication strategies of competitors and disruptive ‘role model’ brands,  staying abreast of market trends, engagement strategies and disruptive communication styles
  • Working with our Customer Success team to refine best-in-class customer service template  response sheets across our most common FAQs  
  • Communicating internally with the wider team, for brainstorming, buy-in and collaboration

What you’ll need: 

  • 4+ years’ experience in a content writing role 
  • Exceptional creative writing skills in short-form (social posts) and long-form (blogs)  
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok &  Linkedin) 
  • Experienced in optimising content for SEO and knowing what works well for earning links
  • Experience in developing engaged communities online across social, email or blogs
  • Great communication skills, able to express complex topics in an accessible way
  • A strong sense of responsibility, curiosity and a proactive attitude 
  • Comfort working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment  
  • Fluent English speaker  

What we would like you to have: 

  • Experience writing on technical details such as ingredients and scientific research for a  consumer audience
